of our Myspace layouts: 2. With your mouse, right click the selected text and choose "Copy". An alternate way to do this is to hold CTRL and C on your keyboard. 3. Log into your Myspace account, and go to Edit Profile. For our MiniSpaces only, you will need to remove all of your current from the other boxes (music, heroes, etc.) and paste the code you copied earlier into the "About Me" section. To paste the code, right click in the About Me box and choose "Paste", or, press CTRL and V on your keyboard. For our Templates, you will not need to remove any information from the existing boxes. You will simply paste the code then save your work! 4. This step is only for the MiniSpaces. Scroll down in the code you pasted into your About Me section until you find the text that reads "about me here about me here...". You can delete all of those "about me's" and type in your own content. This area is the place where all of your content will go. Save your work. You will also need to change your FRIEND ID in this code. You will notice some links in the code that look like: http://collect.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=invite.addfriend_verify&friendID=XXXXXX The "XXXXXX' is where your Friend ID will need to go. You can find your friend ID by clicking the "View My Profile" link near the top of the page. If the URL in your browser's address bar reads: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=37965088 your Friend ID is 37965088. Copy this number and paste it into the areas of code that read "XXXXXX". That's it! |
